Eliseo Mercado

Eliseo Mercado Pedraza, Project Advisor, received his Bachelor of Art’s (BA) in Political Science from the University of California Berkeley (UCB). While studying at Berkeley, he joined the campaign team to elect the executive vice president for student government by offering cutting edge social media and grassroots organizing content and support. This winning campaign confirmed Eliseo’s passion to find similar work like this, with shared values for positive change, in his career. Eliseo has a natural skill for leadership, and quickly became an orientation leader (UCB) - mentoring, training, and recruiting freshman orientation leader teams both during college and beyond graduation. Early in life, Eliseo was exposed to community change through his grandfather, a champion for day labors in Southern California. When Eliseo grandfather passed away, the number of community members participating in his memory illuminated the impact he had on the community. Eliseo is driven to continue his grandfather’s fight for justice and equality. He brings a can-do attitude to CliffordMoss and our clients, with an edge for how new media can support and empower grassroots change, and natural leadership skills. In his free time, Eliseo likes to read, play boardgames, go fishing, and volunteer.
